All Saints’ is a growing, friendly church at the heart of the village of Clayton West in Yorkshire. As part of the Church of England we seek to serve the local community and have been doing so for over one hundred years. Through our worship, music-making and involvement in Churches Together we hope to show something of God’s love and concern for all in Clayton West and the wider world.

Our Christian Faith at All Saints is expressed in our vision which is — ’to be a vibrant and integral part of the community, and financially viable whilst offering support to others.’

The church is open daily from 8am to 4pm. Please feel free to come inside and look around, say a prayer or just enjoy a moment of quiet; the porch is a good place to shelter from the elements on a day’s walk.

Our main services are on Sundays at 9:15am for worship, or for a quieter mid-week service on Tuesdays at 9:15am. All are welcome. For more details click here.

Our social events are open to all. In addition to our monthly coffee morning we hold other events throughout the year, including walks and meals out. Check on forthcoming events, contact us for details or see the calendar on one of out notice boards here or inside the church.

Help Needed

Could you help on the last Sunday afternoon of each month and give us two hours of your time up in High Hoyland church yard? If you have a petrol lawn mower or strimmer, please bring it - the larger the number the easier the task - to keep down the length of the grass. Any two hours between 12 noon and 4pm would be a great help to members of All Saints' who have the church yard at High Hoyland in their care (S75 4BJ)

Services in Church & COVID19

COVID 19 has had a big impact on our life as a church and meant that we have needed to adapt our worship and our life together to keep people safe. This has included offering worship online as well as in our building. Church services are taking place in All Saints’ Church at the moment. Our main weekly service is at 9.15am each Sunday and a simple service of Morning Prayer takes place at 9am each Monday. Please see the Services page of this website for more information. We also have our coffee morning on the first Saturday of every month from 10.30am as well as other events through the year

We have taken various steps to keep people as safe as possible so you may notice some differences. In particular we ask that you wear a face covering in church. We also encourage you to take a lateral flow test before meeting other people in church. Things can change quite quickly and we will do our best to inform you of any changes to our pattern of worship. If you are uncertain don’t hesitate to contact Rev Sarah.
